All right, let's say you're in charge of getting people to play the parts in Harry Potter (#1 or other, I don't really care). Who would you choose? Who would you love to see as that role (British or otherwise). Who would be hilarious as a role but is completely inappropriate?

I was having this discussion with a few people last night. It didn't amount to much. Mostly who would make weird Dumbledores if not for the fact they were dead. (Bob Hope, Strom Thurmand, Gregory Peck, Richard Harris... whoops... Roy Orbison...) I'd like to see where it goes on this site.

Haley Joel Osmoet has to fit in that story SOMEWHERE...maybeif the Creevy's weren't major blondies. Maybe he could of been Neville. I mean we are so used to the one cast now, but he coul dhave done a good job, just with a sort of different look.

That's the only problem, once you see people as a role for more than 1 movie, they're kind of pegged as the role... but here's something to think about... Hannibal Lechter (Anthony Hopkins) as Dumbledore. "Oh dear, the Headmaster is hungry again..." Or... Tim Curry as Snape... That would be creepy...
