(It came to me in a dream last night and since the majority of the people that still come are from Pinkerton, they'll know what I'm talking about. It's quite self explanatory.)

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you take all stairs at a run and hope some higher power will take care of the rest.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you ignore elevators because you've been caught on them one too many times.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you get pissed off by public displays of affection because you're already late to get to your next class, not because you haven't got a boyfriend/girlfriend.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you have an idea for a class, take it to your guidance councelor, they can actually find a teacher who wants to teach it and it becomes part of next year's curriculum. (Never done this one but... I've got no doubt it would work.)

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you know taking the long way around something (i.e. the path from the Science Building to behind the Voc) is usually the quickest way to get there.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you know what the Voc, the Oval are and the difference between the Old English Building and the English Building.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you secretly wish you could roll one of the portables down the hill. Just once.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you look down from the hill on a rainy day and instantly think 'Roller Coaster Tycoon'.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you dread next year's schedule when you know you have Latin and English next year...

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... all you do is sigh when you find out that dammit... they did schedule Latin and English together. (Or Science and Spanish...)

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... because of the pains in the arses that block the whole sidewalk and you're unable to get around them, 7 minute passing time is just not enough. (How the hell do they get to class on time?)

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you can get up at 5:30 all by your onsies to catch the bus at 6:10 to get to school at 6:40 to get to class at 7:15.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... people don't give you funny looks anymore when you tell a very animated story.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... someone says 'That's so miscellaneous' and you agree.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you swear because you never get to watch any cool/interesting movies in class while other classes are watching Don Juan deMarco and Chocolat... (DAMMIT!!!!)

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... (throw some of your own in if you feel like it/become inspired)

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you know you can swear out loud and nobody will hear you.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you realize that little children get the better deal by getting to go to school later than you do.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you get annoyed when people call them 'half days'. THEY ONLY CUT TWO BLOODY HOURS OFF THE END!!!

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you have a teacher that actually knows who Hunter Thompson is.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you have teachers that could consider watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas if you convinced them enough that it has to do with the curriculum because the hero does copious amounts of drugs.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you need a pass to get to class only 2 minutes after the dismissal bell has rung.

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... your teachers don't realize that there are other teachers in buildings they don't go in. (And you *gasp!* get homework from them)

You've been at Pinkerton too long when... you sneer at stupid other children during the winter because they don't have to risk frostbite when they change classes in the winter.
