Ellie was terrified that a fight would break out, but new Oliver and then team could hold their own. She had her own problem to deal with at the moment. "Well I just figured you might like some company." She smirked and crossed her arms across her chest. "It must get so boring, sitting all by yourself in detention, doesn't it?"

"its not so bad when the professer is nice." Gwen said thinking back to detention. Beside here, Gwen felted Marcus and drace move forward. Without making to noticeable, she grabbed the sleeves of their robes. She knew if the desided to fight, she would not be able stop them. She just hoped they didnt do anything they would regret. "Have you done your DADA home work yet," Gwen smirked "wouldnt want to start your detentions to early." "NO." Gwen yelled and they burst into a fit of giggles. Marcus had launched himself at Oliver, who were having their conversation while Ellie and Gwen were talking. Marcus had Oliver pinned to the ground, and the other members of both teams were starting as well.

"Well then shouldn't I be the one worrying about it, and not you?" Ellie could feel the tension between the two teams rise considerably, and unfortunately, she wasn't able to stop what she knew was coming. She watched in horror as Marcus hurled himself at Oliver and threw him to the ground. Her inital reaction was to go help him, but she knew he'd never forgive her if she did. "Besides," she thought to herself, quickly grabbing onto the chain from around her neck, "He wouldn't fight back. He couldn't." The thought wasn't too reassuring, as she saw Fred and George had already started with the two Slytherin beaters, and Harry looked like he was about to shove the end of his Nova into Malfoy's face. "Thank goodness for Angelina, Katie and Alicia." She watched as they stepped out of range of fighting, although the screaming and yelling that had suddenly broke out from the three of them wasn't any better. The three Gryffindor Chasers took advantage of the fact that not one of the three Slytherins guys would physically fight a girl. Ellie was hoping for a teacher or someone to come and help sort this mess out, because Oliver was getting pounded. She couldn't watch, and cringed with pain everytime she heard Marcus make contact. She looked at Gwen, who seemed delighted with herself, cheering on her teammates. It was inhuman, it was wicked, it was... "GWEN! YOU LITTLE WITCH! (no pun intended)How could you...you, you horrible, nasty little...!" Ellie charged at Gwen, ready to take her out for everything she had ever done to her. The swelling solution, the run-in in the hallway, all the teasing and taunting she had delt with. As she wrestled with Gwen, she heard a SNAP! and then Oliver shouted at her from a few feet away. "Ellie, no please don't!" She turned towards him, and as she did Marcus' fist had just made contact with the side of Oliver's head. His head fell to the sand, and he wasn't moving. She jumped off Gwen, and shoved a satisfied Marcus off of Oliver, Alicia and Katie running to her side. "Oliver! No, please, no!" Tears started to pour from her blue eyes as Angelina, followed by Harry and the twins gathered around. Alicia grabbed Ellie and took her away from everyone, while Fred and George flew back to the castle to get Madam Pomfrey. The Slytherin team quickly moved back and started towards the locker rooms, but Ellie hadn't the energy to scream at them. Alicia held her until her shaking, violent sobs had calmed, telling her everything would be fine. Madam Pomfrey came hurrying to the pitch with Professor McGonagull and Professor Snape. Ellie and Alicia rejoined their team, and Madam Pomfrey wiped up the blood from Oliver's mouth and nose. McGonagull looked at the team with narrowed eyes and asked what had happened an why the boys were all such a mess. Ellie was about to tell the her how the Slytherins had come and started the whole thing, when Alicia hit her hard. Katie stepped out of the circle and said "Professor, we were warming up Fred, George, and Harry with the Bludgers, when they lost control. Oliver caught one to put back, but got hit on the way down. I think they have been tampered with." "Is this true?" McGonagull looked questioningly at the twins and Harry, who nodded their heads in agreement. "I see. Well then, we will postpone the game for an hour or two until all equipment has been checked and dejinxed. Although it may have to be changed to a later date, if Gryffindor can't find another Keeper." "No! I am playing, and that is final!" A weak, but determined voice came from the grouns, and the team looked in astonishment as Oliver awoke. He groaned form the sunlight, with a wave of her wand Madam Pomfrey summoned a stretcher. She levitated him onto it, and gathered his things. "I don't think so , Mr. Wood. No more Quidditch until that egg on your head is completely gone." Ellie started with Professor and Madam Pomfrey to the hospital wing, staying right next to Oliver the whole time. They were walking under the Picth entrance when Oliver looked up at her. "Ellie, why?" His look was pained, and she watched as his hand moved to his chest and grab a hold of something. Ellie saw a glint of silver in the sunlight through his glove, and she gasped in complete shock. Oliver closed his eyes and the strecther continued towards the castle. Ellie couldn't move, the words stabbing into her mind, her eyes stinging with tears. Why? Her hand slowly moved towards her necklace, but her neck was bare. It was enough. She sank onto the pebbly path under the stands and sobbed. Why?

Gwen followed the team into the locker rooms and burst into laugher the minute the door shut behind her. She touched her face and then went to a mirror. She had a bloody nose and she new she would have a black eye, but at that second. "Wonder if they'll tell" She heard a voice behind her. She turned around. Marcus had scratches all over his arms and face, mostly likly weer Oliver had held on to him, trying to keep his cool. Most of the team had small cuts, but Gwen had it the worst. It seems to Gwen that Ellie had left out all her anger in that one fight. After the team had cleaned themself up and changed they walked out onto the feild. You could easly tell where the fight was. There was blood on the grass and the sand on the edge of the feild was everywhere. As they started walking back up towards the school, Gwen a flit of silver out of the cornor of her eye. She broke away from the group and bent over to pick it up. She held it in her hand and then relized where she knew it. "This is Ellies necklace. She must not know its gone. oh this will be good." "whats that?' Draco asked coming up behind her "Umm... Nothing." Gwen shoved the necklace into the pocket of her robe. she wasnt baout to tell anone what she was thinking. This was now just between her and Ellie, and this time she was going to get her good. "Oliver gave her this 3rd year. She'll be so upset its gone" Gwen thought to herself as she walked into her room. She was the only one there. "wait , what am i talking about, Oliver will freack out if she doent have it" Gwen smiled to herself and put the necklace in a small box by her bed. She was planning to fix the cahin later but what she would do then, she didnt know. After a few seconds she walked back to the common room and out the door into the school hallways. She wasnt sure where she was going but she didnt care at the moment. she was just going.

Jenni just stared. She and the rest of the school had just started to come out when the fight broke out. She and Tova ran ahead and arrived just in time to see Madam Hooch telling Oliver he couldnt play. "What on earth just happened?" she thought. She ooked around her. All of the other students were staring or whispering between themselves. Running over to Ellie she caught her just in time as Ellie fell to the ground sobbing.
"Why? Why! Why," she kept repeating.
"Ellie! You can't just sit here. Oliver will be fine. Madame Pomfry will have him back out here in no time. and if I dont know Oliver, i'm sure he'll be trying to heal himself to get back out here. but right now we need to find another keeper! otherwise we'll have to forfit to Slytherin. we dont want that to happen. we dont have a back up. "
Ellie stood up shakily with the help of Jenni on one side and Angelina on the other. The rest of the team joined them as they stood in silence wondering what to do. Katie spoke up, "ok Oliver is obviously not gonna be able to play after a few hours. They'll be done checking the balls quickly enough. Lord knows we'll make the Slytherins pay for messing with them. But right now we need a keeper. Oliver's out. who do we have that can play?"
They looked around them. The first years were mostly huddled together looking worried. The second years were doing the same except for Harry's friends who were standing a few feet behind the group waiting for Harry. Of the third years, a few of them could play but they werent very good. Most of the fifth years had gone to see if Oliver would be ok. None of the sixth or seventh years wanted to play after seeing the battle that had just occured. Harry's little bushy-haired friend came over to the circle and whispered something to him. The other one stood back and looked rather annoyed, as did most of the other people in our group at being interrupted. not that the team had had many ideas. Harry smiled at looked at his team. Then pointed to Jenni. "you can play right?" Jenni looked startled. "What? um....ya. i can play. but im not as good as Oliver. i've never even played for a real team. Oliver was playing keeper before i got here. i would have tried out for keeper, but....i dont know..." Ellie answered, "Jenni you have to. do it for Oliver. we can't let those snakes win"- Harry seemed to sudder at the word snakes- "and plus ive seen you play you're awsome. remember when we were just flying around last weekend?" Jenni looked up and was suddenly caught in Fred's eyes. His blue eyes locked with hers. They were worried, reassuring, excited, and....wistful? She turned away from his amazingly deep eyes as he whispered to her quietly. "You can do it. I'll understand if you dont want to, but i know that you can." Their eyes locked again. This time he was the one to break the connection. The entire circle looked at her intently. Finally she answered, "Ok i'll do it."
*************************************
After a few hours, Madam Hooch came out with another set of balls. They would continue checking the other set after the match. Jenni, dressed in one of Angelina's Quiddatch robes, stepped out of the locker room to meet the team. She carried her own Nova and waited as Alicia told Madam Hooch about their new player. She looked as the Slytherin team fumed about the new line up. Obviously, they didnt expect the Gryffindors to be able to find another keeper so quickly. Jenni was so nervous that she didnt even hear the whistle being blown. But when she got up into the air she felt like she belonged there and flew over to their hoops. Within seconds, the Slytherin chasers came flying at her. She watched as the huge boy headed right. She followed, but he had already veered to the left and shot the ball through the left hoop. "Uh oh," she thought. "damn, Oliver would've had that one." The Slytherins had now decided that having a new keeper was a great idea, especially because she was awful. Katie, Alicia, and Angelina were trying their best to score, but the Slytherins were excited by how horrible the other keeper was. Finally, Alicia had a chance to shoot, but was easily blocked. Meanwhile, the players in green had scored another two. The Slytherin chasers weren't the only ones who found the new keeper easy to pick on. Their beaters had decided to continue aiming to knock Jenni off her broom. After narrowly missing another Bludger, Jenni decided that she was sick of their little game. "I may not be as good as Oliver, but i am not going to lose this." The next time a Quaffle came at her, she lunged at it before it went in and then threw it at Angelina. It wasn't a particularly pretty way of blocking it, but it worked. Feeling that his team needed a quick win, Harry had stayed high above the game watching none of the game and concentrating only on finding the Snitch. He only just noticed that Jenni had let another two in and blocking two more. Suddenly he saw the Snitch right near the Gryffindor goal post. He dived down at it, but had to turn when a Quaffle came flying towards the goal at the same time. He hit it with the tail of his broom as he turned to find the Snitch again. "Haha! What you can't keep the Quaffle out of the goal yourself? Need the seeker to help you out, huh?" taunted the Slytherins. Paying no attention to the taunts, Jenni caught the next two shots fired at her. "Hurry up, Harry!" she thought. Finally, Harry caught the Snitch. The score ended up 150-90. Gryffindor never got a chance to score because all the shots were fired at Jenni. She felt awful. The game was less than 45 min. and she still let 9 balls through. But everyone else just seemed happy that they won. In a flurry of congratulations, the team went up to visit Oliver to tell him the news and then to the common room to celebrate. All of the Gryffindors went up to the party while Fred and George went to peach some food from the kitchens.....well, that is all of the Gryffindors except two. Oliver, of course, was still in the hospital wing. But Tova, stayed behind and stole off to spend time with Mike. No one, not the sulking Slytherins, not the cheering Gryffindors, not Tova or Mike, noticed a lone figure standing by the Gryffindor stands. Cedric stood alone waiting for the heroine of the game to come meet him. But he soon realized, there was no one left on the field...

Tova and Mike were walking hand in hand back up to the castle. Both were extremely excited about the outcome of the game. "That was so awesome! I can't believe Jenni did that!" "Definately...Oliver will be happy. Will he still have his spot when he's ready to play?" Mike asked. "Of course! Jenni could never do that to him." "Well, I guess you want to go celebrate with the others. I'll get going..." "The party will be going on all night, trust me. We have time for a detour." The two then changed directions and headed towards the lake. They sat down under a tree and began talkng.
*********************************************
"We got so much food this time!" George began. "I know...the party will be on all night!" Fred said as he tried not to drop some pumpkin pasties. They were walking through the main hall and saw two people sitting by the lake under the tree. "Who's that?" George asked. Fred recognized the two immediately and tried to distract his brother, knowing how he felt about one of them. "No one, probably some Ravenclaws." "Nah, they look familiar." All of a sudden a third person appeared coming up from the Quidditch Pitch. "Diggory." Fred mummbled. "Let's get out of here." "No. Wherever Diggory is, Turner isn't far behind." The two watched Diggory go over to the couple. Once they stood up, George recognized them. "See, Turner is there...with...Tova?!"
"Hey Cedric!" Tova said as he approached them. Tova and Mike stood up to talk to him. "Hey guys. Have you seen Jenni?" "No. I thought she was meeting you after the game." Mike said. "She didn't." Cedric began. "I'm sure she's off celebrating though. I would be to if I was her..." "Omgosh! she must have forgot! I'm so sorry Cedric. Do you want me to go get her?" "No, that's ok. When you go back to the common room, just tell her I said congrats, and that if she wants to see me, she knows where to find me." Cedric headed back towards the castle. "Poor guy." "Yeah, it sucks to be stood up." "You've been stood up before?" Tova didn't believe it. "Yeah." Mike's look turned sad. "Well, I would never stand you up." Tova began. "I don't know who would..." "That's one of the reasons I like you." Mike said as they sat back down. "Tova?" "Mm?" "Will you go to the winter ball with me?" "I would love to." With that, the two leaned in and had their first kiss.
Unluckily, though, the twins were still watching. "Hey guys! Good game." Cedric said as he passed them. "Thanks." The twins responded. Cedric noticed they were watching Tova and Mike kiss. "They make a great couple, don't they?" "If you say so." George mummbled. "Hey, have you guys seen Jenni?" "She's in the common room celebrating. Why?" Fred answered. "She was supposed to meet me after the game. Oh well. See you later." Cedric headed towards the Hufflepuff common room. The twins turned their attention back to Mike and Tova. They had started heading to the castle, so Fred and George decided to go back to the party. 'I won't let this affect me.' George thought. 'I can still ask her to the ball. It's time to party...we beat Slytherin!' Fred was thinking the same thing...

(OOC~ this is the game form my point of view)
Gwen walked down to the feild and arrived just before the game started. "wait how are they playing. Arnt they missing a Keeper?" Gwen asked out loud. "No they found some one else to play. I didnt think they had back-up but i dont think they'll be that great." Gwen was answered by the Slytherin on her left "Oh." Gwen mumbled to herself and then looked up just in time to see the new Gryffindor Keeper let the ball through the left hoop. "well this won't be so bad. To bad they can keep her." Gwen was very happy with how the game was going so far. they were up 30-0. Now she only hoped the Draco would catch the Snitch before Harry. All the team needed to do was keep the Gryffindors form scoring and they would be fine. "Oh this is to funny." Gwen said the Pansy who was standing next to her. Bothe girls satrted laughing as the Quaffle hit the end of Harrys broom after it went though the hoop. "Haha! What you can't keep the Quaffle out of the goal yourself? Need the seeker to help you out, huh?" Gwen taunted with the Slytherins. "Ahh." Gwen gasped. "what???" Pansy turned to Gwen, trying to figure out what she was gasping at. "Harry's seen the Snitch." Gwen saw it too. A tiny gold ball by the Slytherin goal posts. Both Harry and Draco where on the other side of the feild. Wether Harry saw it first or he was just closer, she didnt know. All she knew was that Harry would catch it before Draco would. The wistle blew signaling the end of the game. Slytherin had lost 150-90. Not a huge defeat, but Gwen was not happy with the out came at all. She walked up to her house common room with the rest of her house. Everyone was upset that they had lost but it was only the first game. They had plenly of time to pull into the lead. When she got into the common room, Gwen sat on a couch in front of the fire. After about a half an hour the Sltherin team walked in. To Gwens surprise they didnt seem as upset as the rest of the house. "its all that stupid Potter. We could have won." Draco said sitting down next to Gwen. "They didnt score at all. they just caught the snitch first." Marcus said slumping down in a chair. "Well I guess if you look at it though way, It's not so bad." Gwen closed her eyes and rested her head on dracos sholder and soon fell asleep. (OOC~ Yes sry i did copy tah much form a previous post I just couldnt thin of anything to write and it just seemed to work)
