Okay...some where in here we'll have to go at it while they have a Quiddatch match...*sigh* Boys on brooms, getting knocked in the head by bludgers... What could be better? *Dazes off dreamily*
Sorry, okay how about a new scenario. Let's see, I'm just gonna start...I live for this kinda stuff!
"Ouch! Be careful with those!" Ellie cringed in pain, a slight burning sensation grazing her forehead. She was sitting on the edge of her grand four-poster bed, hair clips and jars of tamer thrown askew amidst the dozens of pillows and stuffed animals. Heather, one of her dorm mates and closest friends at Hogwarts, was in one of her moods, twisting and flipping her friend's curly chestnut locks into one of her stylish do's. "Sorry. Although it would help quite a bit if you'd stop singing!" Heather finished unwrapping Ellie's front layer of tresses from her teal hot curlers, rolling her eyes when Ellie proceeded to hum instead. They had just come from dinner, and having finished all their homework for Potions class, decided to have a girl's night in their room. Jenni and Tova were down in the Common Room, trying to bribe Fred and George into giving up some sweets, while Lauren scoured the library for anything with beauty ideas . It was early December, and having lost their summery golden tans and sun kissed hair, the girls were driven to spice up their appearance. It wasn't as though they were self-absorbed or anything, more on the contrary. A bit of a new look would give them a new confidence. Heather and Ellie had just finished cleaning their mess, when Tova and Jenni came hustling through the door, arms full of sweets. Jenni slammed and bolted the door behind her, gasping for air, while T

DARNIT!!!! LOLS SORRY here's the rest!
Jenni slammed and bolted the door behind her, gasping for air, while Tova threw their find on the window seat between Heather and Lauren's beds. She threw off her cloak as Ellie walked over and stared at the candy, eyes wide. "How did you...they wouldn't have given ALL of that...its so beautiful!" She scooped up a handful of the treasure, and let it fall slowly onto the crimson cushion. Jenni grinned proudly, folding her arms and twisting a lock of her long, black hair around her finger. "Oh well, it wasn't that hard." She smirked and after opening a chocolate frog, gestured toward the window, the Quiddatch Field glowing under the setting sun. "Oliver's obsession with Quiddatch does have its benefits." She collapsed happily on her bed, the girls rushing over to join her. "You didn't!" Ellie demanded, biting into a treacle tart, knowing very well what the Jenni and Tova had done. "Oh hunnie, you know we did!" Staring at her handful of jellybeans, deciding carefully which one to pop into her mouth, Tova nodded her head at Jenni. "I mean, honestly, it was perfect timing. We ran into Marcus Flint and the Slytherin team on their way to dinner. They looked really sweaty and gross so we figured Davinski had booked the pitch for them today, even though today was our turn." "That ickle brat Malfoy is their new Seeker, so of course the got special practice privileges." Jenni couldn't help but laugh to herself as she watched Ellie control an urge to go off on Slytherin. Heather had also noticed as her friend clenched her teeth and squeezed her hands into fists. She grabbed a peanut butter chew and popped it into Ellie's mouth before she could say anything. "Oh, don't think on it. We have better things to do with our time, don't we girls?" They were about to voice their agreement when a loud bang on the door startled them. "Must be Lauren." Ellie crossed the room and unlatched the door, happy to see her friend had made a successful find at the libray. Lauren was flushed, almost ready to drop the stack of books in her arms. Jenni came over and took them just in time, and Lauren made a dash to the candy she spotted by the window. "Practice again?" she laughed, unwrapping some licorice and laughing at Jenni and Tova. "You're just as bad as they are, you know that?" "Ya, ya we know." Jenni had thrown the books on her bed and the girls were flipping through them, when Ellie jumped up, her hand flying to her forehead. "Those second years, Callie and Samantha, asked me for help on their Transfiguration. We were supposed to meet with McGonagall today at 7:45! How oculd I have forgotten?" Heather checked her watch. "Well if you run, you might make it. It's only 7:42." Ellie quickly grabbed her books and cloak and flew out the door, calling to the girls to save her some tart for when she got back. It was the second time the younger girls had asked her for help. She didn't mind, since they were very sweet and eager to learn, plus McGonagall had given her 10 points for giving some of her time to other students. "Time," she thought to herself. "Right now I could use more of it!" After hurrying through the Fat Lady's portrait, she started down the steps, two at a time, almost sure that she would make it with seconds to spare. Hurrying down the 2nd floor corridor to McGonagll's office, she stopped by the window as she heard a voice behind her....

*while that going on. In the Slytherin common room. Gwen plopped herself down on a couch in front of the fire. the common room was almost always cold but it was particly cold today. The Slytherin Quittich team had left for the feild not long ago and she was one of the only people left in the common room. The longer she sat the longer Gwen became bored. she finally walked up the room she shared with Pansy Parkinson, Milicent Blustrode(sp ill fix later) Jessimaca.
'hey' Pansy looked up form the book open on her bed when Gwen walked in. 'hey, I got another owl from mum this morning.' Gwen pulled a larger brown box from under her bed. When she opened it, she was happy to find that it was filled with all kinds of sweets. The door opened again and Jessimaca walked in. When she saw the box of sweets siting on Gwens bed her eyes lit up. 'I'm so hungery' she grabbed a pumkin pasty and begain to eat it. 'Ill be right back guys, I promised Draco Id meet him in the great hall after their Quiddtich practice. Gwen leaves the room and walkes through the door to the hallway. She sees Ellie running and called out to her. Ellie stoped by the window and turned around Why if it isnt Ellie. Where are you off to in such a hurry? So hows Olivier and the rest of your loser quidditch team? Hope there ready to lose the next match. With my Draco on the team as the seeker theres no way you can win. Gwen smircked knowing that the only reason Ellie was hurring anywhere was because she was late for something. Gwen waves to a few 6th year slytherins as they passed her and Ellie but said nothing to them. Well Elle, what do you have to say for your self?

Before she turned around, Ellie new who it was. And boy the LAST thing she needed was to deal with her of all people. Gwen Combe had hit her with a hard blow, and Ellie new she was waiting for her to bite right back . Luckily though, with just one word, the Slytherin Prefect had swept away any chances of that. Ellie turned around, a firmer grip than normal on her study books, and stood face to face with Gwen. Knowing that she was already late for a class, she took her time choosing her words, so that she couldn't get in trouble.
"Oh, why hello Gwen. Yes, I heard that Draco is your new Seeker. You must be so happy for him."
Ellie tried to keep the sarcastic tone out of her voice, and by just keeping her mind on what Combe had said to her, she was able to keep it down.
"What was that? Oh, yes, where am I off to, you asked? Professor Magonagall asked me if I would be kind enough to use some of my spare time helping tutor a few of our younger students. I figured it was a good way to make use of my time, rather than spending it roaming around the halls all day."
Ellie knew the look on Gwen's face all too well, and was able to keep a straight face.
"Well, Professor's waiting. I'm sure she'll be interested to hear about what kept me. Good luck at the game. Toodles!"
Ellie swiftly turned and walked down the corridor to her awaiting class. Hugging her books to her chest, she grabbed onto the gold chain around her neck gave a sigh of relief. It had worked! Of course she was still about to blow up in someone's face, but at least it wouldn't be Gwen's! She opened her Professor's classroom door and hurried up to the front. Professor Magonagall had already started the lesson with the Cassie and Samantha and she knew better than to interrupt. Finally, an hour later the lesson ended, with the two girls showing great signs of progression. They thanked Ellie and Professor, and quickly shuffled through the door. Ellie, totally forgetting about the earlier incident, was packing her things into her crimson bag when Minerva approached her. "Well?" Ellie looked up curiously, wondering what Professor wanted. She noticed her eyes wander to the clock and suddenly she remembered. "Oh Professsor, I am so sorry!" She jumped up to explain what had happened in the hallway earlier. As she spoke, some of the anger that she kept down came spilling out, "It was HORRIBLE! She always finds someway to get on my case." She slumped back down into her seat, resting her head on her chin. "It was so hard not to say anything mean, and oh, it was so ridiculous! I would have been here, really, I'm very sorry. Next time I'll be ten minutes early." She thought she saw the thin lines of her teacher's mouth curl into the slightest smile, but was interupted when she began to speak. "Well Miss Paker, I'm afraid to say I won't award Gryffindor any points for you being late for such an important lesson." Her eyes narrowed, and Ellie suddenly became very interested in her books. "I will however," she said in a lighter tone, "award you 5 points for controling your temper and acting respectfully while in such a particular situation." Ellie's head snapped up, and her eyes were gleaming with pride. "Thank you Professor...really...you shouldn't...I wasn't really..." "That's enough, Miss Parker. You should b eonyour way to the Common Room now. Off with you." She shooed her out of the room, and Ellie happily made her way back to the Gryffindor Tower. Outside the portrait of the Fat Lady, she could hear arguing from inside the walls. Oh no,, she thought. What could it be now? "Honeydukes", she whispered, and the Fat Lady swung aside for her to enter the Common Room. She was surprised and happy to see that the Quiddatch Team was back. Fred and George were theones arguing, and remembering all the candy upstairs, she dropped her books on the nearby table and ran over to see them. "Nothing, not one piece left." "I can't believe you didn't lock it up!" "Since when is it my duty to make sure..." "Fred, George...Hi!" Ellie smiled with a sickly sweet grin, waiting for them to ntoice. The twins immediatley turned around, looked at her, looked at each other, looked at her again and started screaming. "YOU LITTLE!" "HOW COULD YOU?!" "EVERY LAST PIECE..." She had never seen them this upset before, and was very taken aback. They walked toward her, pointing and yelling until she was stuck against the wall. Ellie closed her eyes and cringed when suddenly a deep voice interrupted. "Would you two stop whining like two year olds?" Ellie opened her eyes to see Oliver Wood, Gryffidnor Seeker and, to Ellie, the cutest thing in the world, pull Fred and George away. "Oliver!" Ellie smiled greatfully and threw her arms around him. "Thank you!" She let go and they faced the twins. "Their utterly horrible aren't they?" she asked, smirking at them. Oliver folded his arms acros his chest and shook his head. "An disgrace to the Gryffindor Team." With a wink he calmed them, for Fred and George loked ready to rant and rave again. Ellie felt a little guilty, and her good side got the better of her. "Fred, George...we have your candy. But it wasn't me! Tova and Jenni were going to ask, but yoyu had left for practice already. They figured it wouldn't hurt to take some from your well-known stash." Fred, ready to talk now without charging at her again, blurted out "But that wasn't ANY candy!" "It wasn't to be eaten...we were goingto give it back actually," Fred informed her. Ellie's jaw dropped. "No...oh geez, guys...what's going on?"

Just then Jenni walked into the chaos. ~ "excuse me? we did not steal a thing. they knew. fred?" she turned and looked at him, "do you remember our little deal?" a look of panic crossed his face as he saw Tova behind her with her arms crossed. Fred looked at George who looked at Fred and then quickly glanced back at Tova. Fred turned back to Jenni and just stood with his mouth open. ~"um...um..." he stammered ~"ya. that deal. so unless you dont me to keep up my half of the bargin...and George-" she turned to look at him"-unless you want Tova to keep up her half of the bargin. i dont see a problem. no candy was stolen." both boys just stood and nodded. Jenni turned to Oliver.

Gwen watched as Ellie walked away and then smilled to herself. She knew that Ellie had kept her cool this tiem but Gwen knew it was only a matter of time till she cracked. Gwen walked down to the Graet hall where the Slytherin team as sitting. She sat down next to Marcus Flint and joined there Convo. 'we no doubt have the best team this year' draco said between sips of pumkin juice. 'you guys are so boring' Gwen got up to leave. Draco got up and followed her out the two Geat hall doors. Crabbe and Goyle followed behind. 'so whaat do you think of the team this year?' Gwen asked Draco 'better then last year. dad bought us newq brooms. The new Extreme Novas not even out yet.' "waz the password again.' Gwen asked 'Pureblood' the wall in front of them slid open 'be right back' Gwen gave Draco a hug and ran to her room. Jessimaca and Pansy were talking about what they where going to where do the up coming winter ball and doing each others hair. 'hey what took you so long' Pansy asked picking up a brush 'saw Ellie in the hallway and then met Draco' Gwen explained. She saw the hurt look on Pansy face but didnt really care. she was used to the look by now. it was the same look she always had on her face when even Gwen started talking about her relationship with Draco. 'she thinks she so cool just cuz shes a teachers pet' Jessimaca said talking about Ellie. 'Guys I just had a perfect idea' by the look in Gwens eyes both Jessimaca and Pansy stopped what they where doing. 'do you really think it will work'....

"Jenni, I'm so glad Angelina and Katie said they would help us with Potions." Tova began. "I know!" Jenni exclaimed. "I want to do as well in that class as possible...I don't like how much Slytherin is favored." "Me neither." Tova paused. "Can you explain our bargain with Fred and George again? I'm a little confused." "Sure..."

Rubbing her temples, Ellie, now starting to get a headache from all the commotion, walked over to the scarlet couch in front of the fireplace and sat down. Oliver, after discussing the whole shamboozle with the twins, joined her and put his arm around her. Greatful for the pillow, Ellie gently lay her head on his strong shoulder. She gazed into the fireplace, the flames roaring up from the iron grate into the dark chimney, and sighed. It had been a long day, beginning with a Double Potions class with Slytherin. Because of the holidays drawing near, the schedules were a bit different, leaving them with a free study period between Divination and History of Magic. Ellie had taken advantage of this to finish her homework so she could relax that evening, but with the recent events at school, she couldn't seem to unwind. To begin with, there was a Quiddatch match coming up, a very important one, too, between Slytherin and Gryffindor. With Malfoy as the new Slytherin Seeker, Oliver wasn't able to hold nearly as many practice sessions as he would have liked, which caused him a lot of stress. Ellie was very supportive of her boyfriend's passion for the game, and did everything she could to lighten the load. In addition to this and the regular bother of classes and homework, there had been a schoolwide scare. Last year, Harry Potter, one of the most well-known students is the school, had defeated Lord Voldemort. It was quite a story, but to be honest, she hadn't the slightest about what had been going on at the time. This year was quite different, however. Harry had this way of attracting Lord Voldemort, and so far it had affected the whole school, almost to the point of closing it down. It had happened after dinner one night... Ellie was making her way back to the Common Room with the lot of the Quiddatch team, as well as Tova, Lauren, Heather, and Jenni, when they found Harry in the hallway with Hermionie Granger and the twins' little brother Ron. There had been some sort of writing on the wall that Ellie could barely make out to "The chamber of secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware." She hadn't the faintest idea what it meant, but when Dumbledore had sent them in a hurried rush to their Common Rooms, it frightened her. There were rumors now, around the school about the whole thing. People had gone to the library look up information on the so-called "Chamber of Secrets", and the tale she had heard wasn't the most delightful. Simply put, it was home to a monster that killed a young muggle-born fifty years ago. She shuddered suddenly, but then felt Oliver's arm tighten around her, and she felt safe again. No more relaxed than she had been earlier, but safe. She caught herself fighting to stay awake. It was only 9 o' clock, and she still had to talk to Tova and Jenni when they got back to sort out the whole candy situation. What did they mean, we have a deal? Someone had better let me know what's going on, she thought. Her eyelids began to droop, and she could have sworn she had seen the eyes of a hideous monster staring right at her from the fireplace through the leaping flames...

"Tova, how could you forget already? George and Fred begged us to tutor them. Their mom's been on them about O.W.L.s coming up."
"Ya? and what does that have to do with candy?"
"Oh! whoops. i forgot you were with Alicia yesterday. Well at the table this morning, Fred and George were being...Fred and George. they made up this really cool little candy. they have 3 flavors. you eat the brown one and whatever the next thing you it is it'll taste like chocolate. but if you eat the green one, the next thing you eat will taste like brussle sprouts. and the purple one, well...im not really sure wat the purple one tastes like but i get the impression its not good. anyway, they were putting them in the second years plates while they werent looking. It was funny until they both accidently put one in poor Gloria Witworth.--"
"who?"
"you that little first year? ive been helping her out with charms. shes so homesick. shes muggle born and looks like shes lost all the time. ya so they put two in her plate and i guess its a bad reaction if you eat a green one and a purple one because half her face turned green and the other half turned purple. i think shes still in Madam Pomfreys. i hear shes been throwing up green and purple messes. i felt so bad cuz i got to know her and shes so shy! she wouldnt even have the guts to yell at them. so i did it for her. i started saying if they didnt cut it out we wouldnt help them pass. so when oliver called another last minute practice and you were the one to suggest taking some candy, they did say that we could take some. i mean we kinda took all of it...but they didnt know. i mean they were flipping out at Ellie. they said something about giving it back. give it back to who? i mean wouldnt be the first time we took some of their candy. i mean if they took it, what are the chances they really meant to give it back?"
