"After so many years teaching here Professor, one would think you wouldn't confuse the houses anymore!Honestly, there is a difference between thinking you are the best around (she glanced slightly to the Slytheirns), and simply having a pure love for the game."
She was very hurt, hoping that it didn't show of course. Sure, she wanted to win the Quiddatch Cup for the Gryffies, but HEL-LO, she didn't even know what her team would be like! She simply wanted to set a strong example of spirit and dedication to the team before season started.
"People these days," she muttered under her breath.

*flyes to one set of goals that had been set up for the game.*
'Professer can we start soon' Gwen asked in her teacher friendly voice.

*stares at quaffle that's just landed on the ground and looks back at all the kiddies* "I was under the impression that it did. Oh well, too bad for you guys." *scoops up ball, leaps onto his broom and starts hurtling towards the Gryffindor Keeper*

Tova flies around the teacher, causing him to drop the Quaffle. Katie, who had joined in the game immediatley, catches it and heads towards the Slytherin goals.

Zack pulls of a spectacular turn and desperately tried to catch up to the fleeing Gryffindor. "Save it Gwen!"

*As Katie flyes towards the slytherin goals post Gwen watches out of the corner of her eye. As soon as Kattie lets go of the ball Gwen flyes straight at it and catches it with ease a good five feet away for the goal posts. She throws it from one hand to another and smiles at Katie.* ' If you all play like that I dont even need a team. It'll be easy enough to keep you from winning by myself" (OOC im going to pretend im not the ONLY even if i have to add characters from the book) *She throws the ball to Marcus Flint who speeds towards the Gryffindor goal posts*

Ellie sat waiting for Flint to make a move toward her posts. Tova, Katie and Jenni were on his tail, and for a second it looked as though Tova was about to knock it out of his hands. She missed, leaving Ellie to defend the hoops. "Always up to me, know isn't it?" She laughed as she called out to her Chasers, who willingly let Marcus go to the hoops, no doubts that Ellie couldn't save it. Pretending not to pay attention, so that Marcus would notice and not give his all to try and get around her, she hung in the air. Her eyes were glued to his chest, for its well known that someone's eyes may be one way, but the direction their throwing can always be told by the position of the chest. He faked to the right, and so did she. His chest turned to the middle hoop and within an instant Ellie was in front of it, the Quaffle in her posession, throwing it from one hand to another. "This game is going NO WHERE," she called, swooping down to the ground and hopping off her broom, Katie, Tova and Jenni follwing, murmuring in agreement. They waited for Professor and the Slytherins to land, Ellie fixing her curly, chestnut ponytail so that it wasn't messy.

"I see we all have the attention spans of gnats. The class is over anyway. Go back to your common rooms and enjoy the rest of the day."
