(right ok then......)
September first had fianlly arrived and Vivian couldn't be more thrilled. The moment she stepped through the barrier onto platform 9 3/4 she finally felt like she was home. She only hoped her letter to Dumbledore would get a reply soon.

Zack had gotten even taller and leaner over the summer. His hair was down to his shoulder and his eyes were even more vibrant. He'd already had a few propositions over the summer.
He'd even practiced his Chaser position diligently between baseball games. On the side, between his eventful summer, he'd learned the inner mechanics of his mind. It hadn't been a pleasent trip the entire way, by any means. But the end definitely justified the means. He was on good terms with most of them, if not all. So he boarded the train, and slouched into a free seat in an empty car.

*This was getting agravating. Where the heck were her friends? Her heart rate sped up as she continued down then corridor of the train, she was feeling incredibly lightheaded and she felt like she was about to collaspe into a quivering mass any second. Looking into the next train comaprtment, she almost blacked out at the sensations that were inundating her senses. Cautiously pushing open the door(which was quite a feet now), she stumbled into it, thinking it was empty, and passed out on the bench.*

(is this my cue? because i can just as easily have it be another compartment. ) Zack glanced up as his compartment door opened. Why would some random student fall into a Slimies private compartment? Because they want somethign from you? Can never be too careful. It was then he discovered that he recognized the girl. It was the one who'd helped him disobey Snape. Who started him on the path to schizophrenia. He had to remember to thank her. But at that moment, more Slimies poured into the compartment. "Hey, who's the girl? A Ravenclaw?" "She stumbled in. I couldn't stop her before she passed out." "Are you going to stand for that?" "Why? She hasn't done anything to me," Zack replied carefully. He couldn't tell them that the voice in his head silently agreed with them. "Because you're a Slimie. You're supposed to be mean." "I'd rather like not to be." "Just stick this gum in her hair and no one will be the wiser. You can share our car." Zack sighed. Peer pressure was, indeed, a bitch. So he took out his gum, flicked it into the luckless Ravenclaw's hair, and walked out of the car before anyone had time to say anything. He hated being a Slimie.

(awww poor Zack....doesnt like being a slimie i'll trade in if he'd like *giggle*)
*The faint since of home that had been hovering around her since she passed out left abruptly. Shivering she slowly woke up and noticed that it had gotten darker and had started to rain, Sullenly and slightly distractedly she ran a hand through her hair. Only to have her fingers catch on something sticky. This snapped her out of her self imposed depression. Yanking her hair in front of her face she saw an offending wad of chewing gum. She let out a faint shriek of horror. Closing her eyes she thought back to who she saw in the compartment, before she had blacked out. Slowly the face swam into her conscience.*
"Bleeding hell." She said anger rapidly building up inside of her. She yanked open the door feircly with a loud bang and started to storm down the isles in search of the offending person. And to think she had once thought he was a good person. She finally found him surrounded by fellow housemates. Blinded by her anger, she never noticed the warmth that had been prevading her skin as she had gotten closer. Wrenching open the compartment door, she stormed in without a second thought. Noticeing all the sneers directed at her she growled low in her throat and slowly and almost preditarily stalked towards Zack who was sitting next to the window. Yanking him up to his feet by his ear she foricly dragged him out of the compartment and into the corridor. She leveled a glare at him before punching him in the nose. Pain permiated through her knuckles, but she didn't mind as she saw the state of his nose.*

He had no time at all to brace himself. The force of the blow had rocked him back on his heels and he had to catch himself against the wall before he could topple over. Blood began trailing down and into his mouth and for a minute, he could feel tears welling up behind his eyes. He didn't want to cry; he was too stunned. What he wanted to do was give a proper look of hurt at whoever had seen fit to break his nose.
The blood did nothing to magnify to the hurt and confusion radiating from his eyes. It only made him look gruesome under the pale, fluorescent light. He couldn't hold back the tears any longer, they just weren't his to hold in. He didn't notice that what was leaking out of his eyes was alot heavier and stickier than normal tears. Didn't notice when the blood from his eyes mingled with the blood from his nose. All he could see was the loathing and hate radiating off of her in palpable waves.
She hates you, you know. You're better off leaving that one alone. She'll burn you.
She already had. If only she knew the bitter hell he'd been put through and more than likely would again. He wanted to tell her, but his throat had double clutched. All he could do was stand and cry streams of red...

She looked at her bruising knuckles and back into the face of the boy she once thought could have been a good friend. That's an awful lot of blood to just be coming from his nose, she thought distractedly. Wait, what? She looked carefully at the younger man standing in front of her, or leanign against the wall in front of her as the case may be. she felt the anger slowly fade away to one of self loathing at actuallly hitting someone. Cautious as always she tentatively took a step towards him, keeping her distance i ncase he ran. She wanted...no needed to know why he was bleeding so heavily. She carefully reached out and drew the seolate, crying boy into her arms. This feels so right, she thought. Carefully she ripped a pice of her robe off and transformed it into a wipe and gently started to wipe the congealing blood off his face.*
"I'm so sorry Zack," She whispered as she continued to dab gently avoiding the nose for obvious reasons.

"No, don't..." Zack raised a hand to feebly bat away at the hand on his face. He knew he couldn't make anybody do anything. He couldn't. He was young and stupid and didn't know anything. He couldn't even make up his own mind without help. So he settled for letting out a small whimper and bowing his head, hoping he wouldn't be punished for trying to avoid someone's will.

*Resigned, she thought idly as she continued to wipe off the blood. He seems so resigned. But to what? She pondered this as she finsished cleaning him up.*
"There, "she said feinging cheerfullness. "All clean."
She gently squeezed his shoulder in reasurrance.
"Your one in a million Zack," she said softly, before once again kissing his forehead. "One in a million."

His shoulders slumped, afraid that there was an ulterior motive.
"Please, Miss... I... I can't. I can't be alone. I-I'm not, but I can't be. Miss... I don't wanna go back."

*Vivian supressed the urge to giggle and settled on smiling warmly. He had called her "miss" that was weird, but it suddenly occured to her that the last time he had acted clueless was when he was having a personality inversion of sorts or person change.*
"Don't want to go back where, Zack?" she asked nicely.
