"But who would they be giving it back to?" Tova wondered aloud. "I mean, it's TEXT candy..." "True...who knows." Jenni suddenly changed subjects. "It' really cool that Angelina and Katie don't mind hanging out with us. I mean they are helping us with class, but you know what I mean." "Yeah, I do. It's nice." ********************************************* "Tova, I think you skipped a step." Katie said. "Arrrg! I'm never going to get this potions thing right!" "You don't have to take it after this year..." Angelina began. "True..." Tova seemed to calm down. "I just hope the twins don't ask for help with O.W.L Potions, Jenni." "Oh, I know. That would be horrible." "What are you doing for the twins?" Angelina asked. “Well, we knew they needed help for their O.W.Ls, and we want to be on the Quidditch team, eventually…” Tova started to explain. “Not to mention they’re extremely funny and cute.” Jenni interrupted. “I definitely don’t mind spending time with them. “ “I don’t either…” Tova said. “I think you two have some crushes!” Katie exclaimed. “Ok…you caught us…just keep it on the down low. Ok?” Jenni asked. “Awww…I think that’s so cute.” Angelina said. “Maybe they’d behave more if they had girlfriends.” “Probably not.” Katie replied. “I just think it would be cute and good for them.” “Me too.” Angelina agreed. “Do you girls want us to do some detective work?” “No!” Jenni and Tova shouted together. “It’s not like we’re little kids. We can do this for ourselves.” Jenni said. Katie gave Angelina a skeptical look and Angelina nodded. They had themselves a new mission.

Jenni didnt like the look on Angelina and Katies faces.
"no...guys...really...we dont need any help... anyway, its just Potions i just don't get them," finished Jenni quickly changing the subject. "i'm really good at Charms and Transfiguration. ive been tutoring some first and second years. you know that kid Colin Creevy? ive been helping him in Charms. poor kid. cant even do a tickling charm. but Potions...are a different matter. "
Katie looked at her sympathetically. "it just takes patience."
"but i dont have patience," said Tova miserably " 'spcially with funny green liquids."
"acutally hun, its supposed to be blue now" Katie pointed out.
"oh."
Tova jumped in surprise as Jenni screamed. "Its turning black!" she nearly knocked the chair behind her over.
"Its supposed to do that!" cried Angelina and Katie at the same time.
"Hey mines doing that too!" Tova cried with pride.
Knowing the potion had to sit for 4 hours before being reboiled and adding the last ingredients, the girls decided to head back up to the common room. On their way up they talked enthusiastically about the way heathers hair turned out and whether or not Katie should try the same thing.

Once the four girls reached the common room, they noticed Ellie was asleep on Oliver's shoulder. "They TEXT cute." Katie sighed. "Sorta. As long as Oliver is still the same...especially Quidditch." Angelina said. "Definately." The girls agreed. "Speaking of Quidditch," Jenni started, "What time does the next match start?" The next match was Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. "11 like normal." Katie answered. "Why?" "Nothing." Jenni looked at Tova. "We should probably go wake Ellie up and drag her up to the dormitory." "Yeah, you're right." Tova and Jenni woke Ellie up and helped her up the stairs. After saying their final goodnights, Jenni shut the door. "Ellie, I need your attention for less than 5 minutes." "Mmm?" Ellie was doing her best to give Jenni that. "Did you talk to Cedric and his friend?" "Oh? Oh! Yeah, they'll meet you two in the great hall by the banister on Saturday, before the match." "Thanks Ellie. You are awesome!" "Yeah, goodnight." Jenni pulled Tova over to her bed and started explaining. "Ellie told me that Cedric had asked about me in the Prefect lounge one day, and the next, his friend had asked her about you. She said she would talk to them and have us meet them somewhere before the match." "Oh." Tova paused, obviously thinking about something. "What about Fred and George?" "Friends. Like that's ever going to happen. I mean, they probably aren't to concerned about relationship stuff. Besides, we don't even know what they're thinking. Come to think of it, no one knows!" Jenni paused. "Are you in?" "Sure."

*Meanwhile* "Uhm guys, a little help here?" Oliver nodded at Fred and George, trying not to move so as not to wake Ellie. The twins shook their heads laughing, not at all surprised to see her asleep so early again. Fred came around the back of her couch and gently lifted Ellie's head so Oliver could slip his shoulder free. "Oy...thanks," he said standing up as Fred gently propped Ellie up against some pillows. "Now the real question , is how to get her upstaires to bed." "Ha, ya well I think we'd better wait until Angelina and Katie get back for that. They'll be able to carry her up there...or else I guess she'll have to stay down here." George sat on the arm of the couch right next to Ellie's head, watching her curiosly. "How does she do it?" he asked in awe. "Its almost like someone put a sleeping draught in her food or something." He exchanged a devious look with Fred, whose eyes went wide as he grinned. Oh wonderul, Oliver thought to himself. Who knows what they'll be up to now. He took a piece of paper from one of the notebooks Ellie had left on the table and wrote in small, sharp letters:
Angelina and Katie: Please see to it that Miss Ellie Anne Parker and her books make it safely to bed tonight. Unless of course, you'd rather do drills for two hours at practice tomorrow... Thanks![/i]
He tucked the note carefully under Ellie's arm, stacked her books on the floor by the couch and turned to the twins. "I'm off to bed. We've got a midterm review tomorrow first thing in Potions for those bloody O.W.L's," he yawned. "Have you been taking Professor's advice and started going the last three year's yet?" "Uhm...well sort of," George said sheepishly. "You either have or haven't, and I really suggest you should." Oliver seemed very determined to get them ont he right track. "5th year is very hard, and I don't want anyone slacking off during practice because they're too tired." Fred rolled his eyes. Would it ever stop? "Okay, don't get your panties in a knot. We'll be fine." Oliver gave him a stern don't-use-that-attitude-with-me look. "Well, I'm off to bed. I'll see you to tomrrow after school, 4:00 charp, at the pitch. 'Night." After Oliver had gone up the dormitory staircase, Fred pulled at his hair and screamed "I HATE QUIDDATCH" at the top of his lungs, letting out all of the frustration from the last 3 years under Oliver's command. "Be quiet you imbissle! Ellie's sleeping!" Fred stopped, but was highly doubtful she'd wake up. "Honetly George, do you really think she'd wake up?" George looked at his brother thoughtfully. "You do make a good point." He paused a minute and then "QUIDDATCH IS A LOAD OF..." "A load of what?" Angelina, Katie, Tova and Jenni had just walked in. It was nine and they didn't want to get in trouble forbeing in the hallways too late. "Uhm...err..." George racked his brain for an adequate answer, but failed and looked at the floor sheepishly. "Ya, that's what I thought." She took off her cape and made her way across the room to the stairway leading to the girl's dormitories, followed by the rest of the girls. "It's late you two, have some human decency and SHUT UP!" Angelina and Katie headed upstairs, but Tova and Jenni stayed behind. "Okay, now that you're back," Fred said, leaning against the chess table near the window, "would you mind explaining to us what exactly is going on with this whole candy deal?" He crossed his arms and Geroge joined him, waiting intently to what the girls had to say, neither of them noticing Ellie sleeping soundly on the couch...

(((on a side note. im not really sure where to start b/c in Tova's part we woke Ellie up but Ellie wrote that she was still asleep. so i guess we'll have to say that Ellies asleep so pretend that Ellies thing came first. ill add mine and then in Tova's we'll wake her up. mucho confusingness)))
Jenni looked at the twins and looked confused, "um...why dont you explain to us what happened? You begged us to tutor you. you said that if we helped you start studying for the O.W.L.s we could dig into your candy stash whenever we wanted and you guys would help us practice so we could get on the Quiddatch team next year. We agreed. so today while all the girls were doing their hair we went to get some candy--"
George looked at her questionably.
"ok ok we took all of it. but you said we could take whatever we wanted. hey a girl cant braid on an empty stomach! next thing i know i come in here and you're flipping out at Ellie about where the candy went. i mean i know you didnt want anyone to know about us tutoring you but you didnt have to pretend you didnt know anything about the missing candy. you did say that we could take some. it doesnt take a genius to figure out that it wasnt Ellie who took the candy. so i reminded you. i mean dont sound so grateful that i didnt decide to yell out to the whole room that we're helping you out."
Fred looked at George and George looked back Fred. Jenni couldnt tell but there was a look of uncertainty. "what could they be uncertain about?" she wondered. George opened his mouth as if you say something but closed his mouth again abruptly. After a moment of awkward silence, Fred simply said, "Oh." and the twins ran up the stairs to their rooms.
"What was that about?" asked Tova.
(((ok so i guess Tovas part goes in here even tho Oliver Angelina and Katie have actually all left. but thats ok)))

Gwen walked down to the slytherin common room. Not in the mood to really talk to any one, even draco, she walked to a chair away form everyone and started doing her charms homework. "hey' Marcus flint wolked over to Gwen 'hey ' she said with out looking up ' hey umm what do you think of this" Gwen statred telling him everything she had talked about up in her room. a smile speard across his face. it was the smile that only appeared when the slytherins where plotting against the gryffindors. 'draco' flint called across the common room Draco walked over and once again the plan was explained. 'thats going to be too easy' draco smiled. 'when are we going to do it though?' ' im saying the best time would be next month at the winter ball' gwen repiled acting like ruining Ellies life was just another day for her (o wait it is) 'damn i got to go. she grabbed her books and started to move' umm draco your in this class too' ' o ya ' he grabbed his books and followed her out the door towards the class where they shared charms with ravenclaw.

The last few schooldays of the week quickly flew by, as excitement and tension filled the air. Gryffindor was holding its first match against Slytherin of the year, which was a huge deal by itself. But add the fact that Draco Malfoy and 7 new Nimbus 2001's were going to make their debut appearance on the pitch, and well the rest is kind of self-explanatory.

Jenni, Tova, Anglina, Katie, and Ellie are walking from charms to Potions, their favorite class of the day. "I really hope he doesn't ask for samples of our potion..." Jenni said nervously. "You'll be fine." Angelina reassured. "You guys are finally getting the hang of it!" Katie added. "It's only potions...almost done for good!" Ellie said. "True." Tova sighed. "It can't be done soon enough..." "Tova!" A voice called from behind the girls. "Tova...ummm..." The voice belonged to Mike Turner, the boy Tova was supposed to meet tomorrow before the Quidditch match. Mike became incredibly shy when 5 pairs of eyes started watching him. "Uh...Tova, can I talk to you for a minute?" "Yeah, sure." "Tova, don't be late for potions..." Katie warned. "I know..." The girls turned and headed for the dungeons without her. "What's up Mike?" Tova asked. "Well...umm..." Mike began. "I usually don't get this nervous when I talk to a pretty girl..." Tova blushed. Mike took this opportunity to grab her hand. "It's just, I didn't want to wait until tomorrow to talk to you. Especially not with Cedric there." Tova, readjusting her grip on Mike's hand chimed in. "I thought you guys were best friends?" "We are! He is my best friend, but he's just so smooth with the ladies...and it's hard to talk to girls in front of him." "Oh. That's completely understandable." She gave his hand a squeeze. "And it's just that I really like you, and I didn't want to screw things up because I got shy tomorrow. So I figure'd I come and talk to you before then." "That's really sweet." "I know you have potions, so I'll let you go. I'll see you tomorrow." Tova kissed him on the check. "See you tomorrow."
When Tova rejoined the rest of the class waiting to enter the dungeon, the girls new something was up. "What happened?" Jenni asked immeadietly. "How do you know something happened?" Ellie asked. "Obviously something happened..." Kaite replied. "Let her talk, girls!" Angelina said. "Nothing happened..." Tova began. "We just talked..." "About what?" Katie asked. At this point, Fred and George had joined the group and were listening in. "Nothing!" Tova insisted. George stared at Tova. "Are they asking about what happened with you and Turner?" "Yes!" The girls replied. Now more people had joined the grop. "Oh...cuz I saw them a couple of minutes ago holding hands and talking...and then she kissed him on the cheek!" George finished. "Awww!" Jenni exclaimed. "You guys must have been so cute!" Angelina said. "What did he tell you?" Katie asked. Ellie just beamed at Tova. Tova, however, was glaring at George. 'How could he tell that? In front of everyone!' George had a triumphant look on his face...but if Tova could read minds she would know that he wasn't feeling as happy as he looked...

That night Jenni and Tova were puzzling over their Potioins homework with Angelina and Katies help in the common room. Oliver was hovering over a miniature Quiddatch field and once again going over the plans for the next days match against Slytherin. Fred was pretending to listen but George was already fast asleep. Alicia let out a huge sigh as if you hint to Oliver that they were tired, but he ignored them. Only Ellie seemed absolutly facinated by every word that Oliver spoke. Angelina and Katie walked over to Oliver as Jenni and Tova began putting their books away.
"Oh good, you're here. I should go over everything that was said before." Oliver said cheerfully.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" cried Alicia and Fred at the same time. George only turned over to face away from them.
"what?"
"We know the plan. we've been going over it everyday for the two weeks." Katie answered for them.
"They've got it already" hissed Alicia.
Ellie seemed to finally get the idea and said "maybe you guys should get a good night sleep."
Oliver looked at her as if she had betrayed him. but smiled as he said "i guess you're right. go to sleep. i expect you all to get up on time and eat a good breakfast." he kissed Ellie on the cheek and strode off to the dormitories.
Jenni and Tova looked at them jealously. They turned back to cleaning up as Ellie walked up to them.
"So you guys know the plan, right?" she asked.
"ya we'll meet Mike and Cedric by the edge of the Gryffindor stands after the match." Tova replied.
"yup. so you guys neverous?"
"why should we be?" replied Jenni with more confidence than she felt. "we're just gonna go talk"
"alright" she said rather skeptically. she said good night and walked towards their dormitory with Alicia, Angelina, and Katie. On the other side of the room, Fred looked at George intentlly before they walked over to Tova and Jenni.
"so...um...Turner?" asked George. "what about him?" Tova replied. "um...well. you were talking to him earlier" "ya well you were there. you saw it" she said with a little more anger than she would have liked. "and what i cant talk to anyone without your permission?" "no." his anger flared. "i was just asking! cant a guy ask about whats going on around him?" "well if you payed more attention to whats going on around you, maybe you'd actually see whats reallygoing on! but no! youre completely clueless!!!"
Until then Fred and Jenni had just stood watching them. Fred looked at Jenni with a questioning look. She turned her head away to keep from answering the silent question.
"Guys?" she said quietly. "Go to sleep. theres a big match tomarrow. you want to crush slytherin, dont you?" without waiting for an answer she picked up her bag and waited for Tova to do the same. "we'll see you tomarrow." the two girls left quickly leaving the twins to look at only the floor. As they walked to boys dormitory, Fred distinctly heard George mumble "Turner" he glanced at his brother then continued getting ready for bed. That night while George was lying awake thinking over everything that had happened that day, he distinctly heard Fred mumble "Diggory" in his sleep. George glanced at him, then turned over and fell asleep.

THIS SILLY QUIDDATCH POST IS REALLY REALLY LONG. I WILL BE POSTING IN PARTS. MY FOOT REALLY HURTS (tee-hee...randomosity).
Ellie awoke Saturday morning bright and early. The Quiddatch match was at 11, and she had a lot to do. The previous day had proved to be very tiring, so she decided to finish all her work for the game the next morning. Her "work" consisted of (what else?) caring for the team's brooms and uniforms. Every week and before every match, Ellie collected all seven brooms and servicing kits, and spent the following hours cleaning, waxing, trimming, dejinxing, and mending their Quiddatch equipment. It was tedious, but helped everyone considerably. Their Nova's were in top condition, and any rips in their capes were mended to perfection. The team members were able to carry on with schoolwork and practices, and spend time relaxing before the game. Well, everyone except Oliver could relax. Ellie sighed as she made her way down the stairs to the Common Room to finish Harry and George's brooms, knowing that Oliver would be up and about, worrying about the game. You'd think after 2 weeks of drills and strategy he'd be confident enough to calm down a bit, but of course this is Oliver Wood we're talking about... Sure enough, the first person Ellie saw that morning in the Common Room was Oliver, pacing back and forth across the gold and crimson rugs, muttering to himself about one thing or another. Sighing, she shook her head and stepped into the room. Whenever Oliver was stressed out, so was she, and lately it was really starting to get to her. It was hard enough already with classes, studying, homework, and the normal managing of the team, but now with tutoring, everything seemed harder than usual. With a forced smile she gave him a big good morning hug. "Did you sleep okay last night?" She already knew the answer, for it was the same every time. Oliver rubbed his neck and sighed. "Not really. I've been thinking about the match." He led her to the window, and a worried look came over his face. "Its going to be a mighty rough one today." Ellie looked out the window and saw why. It was a cloudy, muggy day, with a hint of thunder in the air. It was going to rain, she just knew it. So now, not only did she have to worry about Oliver worrying, but know she had to worry about the safety of the team. The game was dangerous enough under favorable conditions, but add some thunder, a few lightning bolts, and a torrential downpour and well...you get the idea. "Oliver, you've got nothing to worry about," Ellie said, taking out Harry's servicing kit and broom. "Even if it does storm, you have them trained and prepared to crush Slytherin. You know it, I know it, they know it....heck the whole SCHOOL knows it." She was now trimming the brittle straw at the end of the broom, her stomach growling. Oliver was hunched over the miniature field again, his face twisted in agitation. Ellie watched him for a minute, then sighed and shook her head, giving up completely. "He's lucky he is so cute," she thought smiling.

Gwen woke up the moring of the quidditch game feeling good about what the outcome would be. She quickly got dreeed and headed down to the common room. At the bottom of the stairs she was greeted by the House team Who had gotten up early to go over tatics. 'Hey' Draco said as Gwen walked over to the group. ' Hey ill be back in a second okay.' Gwen walked out of the common room and to the Big front doors of the castle. She opened on and frowned at the weather she saw. It was cloudy and muggy with a hint of thunder in the distance. she closed the door and walked back to the common room. 'Why the long face?' ' have anyone of you looked out side. the weathers gonna be bad.' 'Good' Marcus said 'New brooms and a new seeker they wont be able to win and then add bad weather and the Gryfindorks wont stand a chance at winning ' Ya i guess, I'm going to go gather all your quittich stuff. I'll come back later. Gwen went around ot each boys room to gather each person quidditch things. she hated the tought of her house team playing in bad weather (hey even slytherins have a heart for their own team) but she knew Marcus was right. slytherins had the best team of the school and every house knew it, even if they didnt want to say it out loud. THis thought made Gwen smile. After she finished with the boys qudditch equitment she ran to her room to see if anyone else was up. The winter ball was about a week away and she had to finalize her plans to get Ellie. she opened the door to her room and found Pansy and Jessimaca playing with their hair. 'well almost every Slytherin know what where doing to the winter ball and they all love it.' Gwen laughed

Tova and Katie headed to the great hall to get some breakfast before the big match. As they walked past the Hufflepuff table, Cedric Diggory flagged the pair down. "Hey girls." "Hey." Katie and Tova responded. "Good luck in the match today, Katie. I hope you guys crush Slytherin." "Me too. Thanks Cedric." Cedric smiled and turned to Tova. "Tova, can I speak to you in private for a moment?" Tova shot a questioning glance at Katie before following Diggory out of the hall. Once they were out of earshot , he began. "This may seem weird, but...I need to tell you something. I was going to wait until after the match, but it may have already happened by then." Cedric took a breath. "There are these two girls in Ravenclaw--" Tova breathed a sigh of relief. She thought it was something serious... "And they are, um, very attached to me and Mike." "Attached?" "As in, they tried to curse the last girl I went out with, and they put some potion into Mike's girl's pumpkin juice." Ok, more serious that Tova thought. "Oh...who are these girls?" "Makenzy Sotims and Jenna Rogers." "Ok, I'll definately let Jenni know, and we'll keep our heads up. Thanks for telling me." "No problem. Since Mike's my best friend, I gotta look out for his girl, as well as mine." Cedric turned to leave, but Tova stopped him. "Wait...he called me his girl?" "Yeah, is that a bad thing?" "No." Tova guessed. "No, it's not." She was 100% sure the second time she said it. The two walked back into the Great Hall laughing at a first year who had tripped down the steps. "See you later!" Tova called.
She sat down next to Katie smiling. "What happened?" Katie asked as she ate breakfast. Tova still was on cloud 9. She was a simple girl, and simple things made her happy. "Mike called me his girl." "Aww! That's sweet--wait, it took 5 minutes for Cedric to tell you that?" "No.." Jenni had joined the table at this time. Tova filled the two in on her and Cedric's conversation.
The girls waved bye to Katie and the other members of the Gryffindor team as they headed down to prepare for the match. Jenni, Tova, and the other Gryffindors started to make their way down to the pitch with the other students. Tova noticed Mike walking slowly by himself, so she told her friends she would catch up with them. "Hey Mike!" Tova called. "Hey Tova. How are you?" "I'm good." Tova smiled as she remembered what Mike had called her. "I'm glad, especially after the bomb Cedric dropped." "Those two don't scare me. I've seen them in class...it really IS nothing to be scared of." "True." Mike took hold of her hand, and the two started walking. "Mike, do you want to sit with me and my friends during the match, since we're all cheering for a Gryffindor win?" "Sure. That sounds great." After a minute or two, Tova couldn't take it. "I know what you called me." She said. "What? I would never call you anything--" "I know you called my your girl." "Oh." Mike paused. "Do you mind?" "No! Of course not! It made the news so much easier to take. Actually, it would have made me happy no matter when I found out." "Wow...I'm glad I can make you happy...I know that sounded corny." "Sometimes corny is good." Mike laughed, "Yeah, sometimes it is."

Gwen followed the Slytherin house team down to the feild early before the that days game. When they walked onto the feild Draco looked up and yelled "what are they doing here?" Fred looked down from his broom and yelled something to his team mates. All at once seven brooms landed in front of the Slytherins. "what are you doing here?" Marcus Flint asked as he made his way the front of the group where he stood face to face with Oliver Wood. From where she was sitting in the stands, Ellie saw what was going on, and ran down to her team. Marcus was ready to beat up Oliver by the time she got down to the two groups. 'Hey Ellie," Gwen said in a rather cheerfull tone, "Coming to watch your boyfriend get beat up?"
